Kei's birthday dinner

It was an honor to celebrate our Kei's 17th birthday this past week. She is an unbelievable young woman, and it was a very precious day. We had some out-of-town friends over, and had a delicious dinner of soups (baked potato and broccoli-cheddar), salad, bread, and dessert - undercooked brownies, ice cream, and homemade caramel sauce. We won't eat for a week, now, but sometimes celebrations are worth it!

The Bibbys brought this delicious triple-cream cheese and water crackers from TJ's...

Heirloom tomatoes and basil from my garden (with a bit of Kosher salt, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar)

The broccoli-cheddar soup

Photos backwards, here, but next up is the General chopping onions for me. Great kids like this are rare, I tell ya.

Happiest of birthdays, sweetie! We love you.
